The Marion Hotel room is a playful take on mid-century modern design with a contemporary boutique twist, celebrating colour, pattern and personality. Bold vertical stripes, warm terracotta tones and layered textures create a space that feels nostalgic yet fresh, while graphic fabrics and clean-lined forms give it a modern edge. Thoughtful details — from the statement pendant lighting to the patterned bench seat — invite guests to relax while soaking up the room’s unmistakably fun and quirky character.
Working closely with Materialised, we custom created the wallpaper and bedhead fabric to capture the client’s vision and set the tone for the space. The curtains, bedhead, bench seat upholstery and wallpaper were all supplied by Materialised, allowing the palette and textures to flow seamlessly throughout the room. The result is a cohesive, character-filled interior that blends mid-century influences with contemporary hotel design, delivering a joyful and memorable guest experience.
